Description
This spreadsheet calculates nozzle reinforcement area for pressure vessel openings per ASME Section VIII Division 1 paragraph UG-37 using the area replacement method. It evaluates area available in the vessel shell, nozzle wall, and reinforcing pad against the required reinforcement area. Key inputs include vessel and nozzle dimensions, operating pressure, material specifications, corrosion allowance, and joint efficiencies.
